Increase in burglary of vehicles in Williamson County

Williamson County has seen an increase in burglary of vehicles across the county. This crime is by a coordinated organized criminal group. The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has been working tirelessly to catch the criminals. You can help us prevent car burglaries. Your car is the most vulnerable when parked in your driveway. The majority of the victims report that their car doors were left unlocked or valuable items such as guns or electronics were left in plain view. Please help us get the word out about the importance of taking precautions. With an unlocked door or valuables in plain sight, a criminal can get what they want and be gone in a matter of seconds. Help the members of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office keep your community safe. Do your part by locking your doors, taking valuables with you, or making sure nothing is in plain sight, even in your driveways. Please report any suspicious activity to the department by calling 911. Suspicious activities include pulling on door handles, looking into windows, prowlers, lookouts, and suspicious behavior.
