3. Acknowledge staff and visitors; hear any comments. This will be the only opportunity for public comment. The Williamson County and Cities Health District (“WCCHD”) invites comments on any matter affecting the WCCHD, whether on the agenda or not. Speakers should limit their comments to two minutes. Note that members of the Board may not comment at the meeting about matters that are not on the agenda.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

4. The Williamson County Board of Health may convene in closed Executive Session to discuss pending or contemplated litigation, settlement matters, other confidential attorney-client legal matters (EXECUTIVE SESSION as per VTCA Govt. Code sec. 551.071 consultation with attorney), and any other matters permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed Executive Session, including the following:
   1. Discuss and consider authorizing a forensic audit on behalf of WCCHD
5. The Williamson County Board of Health may convene in closed Executive Session to conduct an interview and consider the employment of an Executive Director for WCCHD (EXECUTIVE SESSION as per VTCA Govt. Code sec. 551.074 personnel matters.)

7. Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the employment of an Executive Director for WCCHD

The Board of Fire Commissioners of Williamson County Emergency Services District #8 will meet on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 6:00p.m. at Fire Station #6, 6700 RM 2338, Georgetown, Texas 78633.

Williamson County Emergency Services District #8 Board Members: Bobby Bunte, Bennie Piper, Troy Rodriguez, Ira Wood and Lisa Birkman.

Call to Order
Board may, at any time, recess the Regular Session to convene in Executive Session at the request of the Chair, Board Member, or legal counsel for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, and are subject to action in the Regular Session that follows.

2. Consideration and possible action to approve the minutes from the Regular Session Meeting held on January 19, 2022.
3. Presentation of ESD8 Audit by James Medack, CPA.
4. Presentation of the monthly Treasurer’s report and payment of bills by Ron Barrick.
5. Consideration and possible action to amend the by-laws to allow for a 90 day contingency reserve and other changes as needed.
6. Discussion and possible action on the issue of the adoption of a Sales and Use Tax by the District to maintain and enhance the services provided by the District and address future revenue shortfalls.
7. Monthly presentation, report(s) and updates by City of Georgetown Fire Chief John Sullivan.
