- The Court Information Technology Officers Consortium (CITOC) with support from the National Association for Court Management (NACM), and the Conference of State Court Administrators (COSCA) announced Williamson County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 as the recipient of the "2015 CITOC Innovation Award - Court Business Process" award.

- Honorable Bill Gravell Jr. was appointed as a member of the Texas Judicial Council by Chief Justice Hecht for a term of four years to expire on February 1, 2019. The Texas Judicial Council was established in 1929 and operates under the authority of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 71 as the policymaking body for the state judiciary, examines and reports on the organization and practices of the Texas Judicial Branch.

- Life Steps Council on Alcohol and Drugs recognizes Judge Gravell for Outstanding Contributions to the efforts of the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition in Williamson County.

March 30, 2015 Dallas, Texas

- Recipient of the Tyler Excellence Award - The Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3 office of Williamson County was recognized for improving their business processes which reduced the time required to complete tasks, reduced operating costs and increased the level of service to the public and other agencies. JP #3 has transitioned from a dominantly paper-driven office to an office with electronic-driven processes. The JP #3 office continues to strive for a more efficient office that will best serve the public.
