WCCHD will be offering free drive-thru flu shots to any Williamson County resident aged six months and older. Participants must pre-register online at www.wcchd.org before arriving at the drive-thru site located at 211 Commerce Blvd. in Round Rock.

Register for EMS Classes in November

Williamson County EMS will be offering in-person classes November 10 and 21.

To get the time, date, cost if applicable, and to register for any of the classes, use the following link:


Enter Georgetown, TX for the location, then enter the class date for both start and ending time. Scroll to the desired Williamson County EMS class. National Take-Back Day Sponsored by LifeSteps Coalition Results

Many Wilco residents took advantage this event and turned in their expired and unused meds to area locations on Oct. 24, as publicized in earlier flyer below.

On National Take Back Day, LifeSteps Council on Alcohol and Drugs collected 3,412 lb of medications in Williamson County:

Sun City – 830 lbs

Sheriff’s Office – 845 lbs

Round Rock PD – 900 lbs

Leander PD – 354 lbs

Cedar Park PD – 483 lbs

The medications collected will be destroyed.
