Status

Construction on the project began in September 2021 and is planned to be completed in spring 2023.

Detour Update: Williamson County’s contractor Denucci Constructors will be implementing a roadway closure on Hairy Man Road from Sam Bass Road to Great Oaks Drive from Nov. 14, 2021, to approximately mid-Aug. 2022, weather pending.  Traffic will be detoured to Brightwater and Creek Bend Blvd.  Local traffic on Hairy Man Rd will be allowed from Sam Bass Road to Alto Lane.  This detour is necessary to provide safe passage during the construction necessary to complete the project.  Minimal delays are expected. View the detour map.

For pedestrian and bicycle safety, the Brushy Creek Regional Trail near the project area will be closed starting Nov. 14, for approximately nine months. A map of the closure area is below. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our trail users. View the trail closure.

Lane Closure: Denucci Constructors will be implementing a lane closure on northbound Great Oaks Drive from Hillside Drive to Brightwater Blvd. and a flagger operation on Great Oaks Drive from Brightwater Blvd. to Oak Ridge Drive.  These traffic control operations are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10 and 11, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The lane closure is necessary for bridge beam work and to provide safe passage during the construction necessary to complete the project.  Minimal delays are expected. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes the traveling public.
