AHA Course Descriptions
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Heartsaver First Aid Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Heartsaver CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Heartsaver Blended Learning training offers flexibility for employers, students, and Instructors. The eLearning (online) portion of the course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid and/or CPR and AED training. Upon successful completion of the online portion, students attend a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor.
BLS Provider Course and HeartCode BLS are for healthcare professionals or those who are going into the healthcare profession.
BLS Provider Course is the Instructor-led course is conducted in a classroom and teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
HeartCode BLS includes an online portion that can be completed either at work, home, or wherever students have Internet access. Upon successful completion of the online portion, students attend a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor.

A list of classes will be displayed. Scroll until you find the Williamson County EMS class that you are interested in signing up for. Then click the details button and then the reserve button.
