    "Leave No Trace for Williamson County Preserves" Training Offered April 25

    The Williamson County Conservation Foundation is offering another “Leave No Trace for Williamson County Preserves” training for people who want to access County preserve areas.  The next class will be held on Thursday, April 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (sign-in begins at 6:00 p.m.) at the Williamson County Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown, Texas 78626. The training will be held in the Human Resources Training Room. Please drive around to the northwest corner of the building to access through the Training Room door. To reserve a spot in the class, send an email to wccf@wilco.org and include "LNT" in the subject line. Include your name and the number of persons accompanying you. Because of classroom size, the class is limited to the first 40 people who register.

Household Hazardous Waste Cleanup April 27

Williamson County, the City of Cedar Park and Waste Management are hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Cleanup event on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gupton Stadium parking lot at the corner of E. Park Street and Gupton Way in Cedar Park. The event is free to Williamson County and Cedar Park residents. Please remember to separate, group and label items prior to drop off.
