JP 4 Office Closures

The office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor will be closed for staff training November 18 to 22, 2019. The office is closed to the public on Wednesdays. While the office is closed, people who want to make payments on their cases can continue to pay online, mail their payments and use the court’s drop box on the north side of the building at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor.

“The training is a critical step as our court transitions to the Odyssey Case Management System which will better serve Precinct 4 residents,” said Justice of the Peace Stacy Hackenberg. “The JP4 court is the only court not using the platform, which makes it challenging to work with other departments and agencies involved in the justice system.”

The court also is transitioning to a paperless system, Judge Hackenberg said. Taking these two steps will save taxpayers money and will increase efficiency of court operations.

While the office is closed, people who want to make payments on their cases can continue to pay online, mail their payments and use the court’s drop box on the north side of the building at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor.

“We apologize for any inconvenience to our clients,” said Judge Hackenberg.
