The Williamson County Brown Santa program provides assistance to families in Williamson County living outside the geographical city limits of any town or city within Williamson County that does not provide a similar program. Brown Santa donations are utilized to purchase toys, books and other items needed to make the children’s Christmas brighter. Williamson County Brown Santa is collecting unwrapped toys and gifts for children at the following locations around the county.

Williamson County Justice Center, 405 MLK, Georgetown
Historic Courthouse on the Square, 710 S. Main Street, Georgetown
Emergency Services Operations Center, 911 Tracy Chambers, Georgetown
J.B. and Hallie Jester Annex, 1801 E. Old Settlers, Round Rock
Cedar Park Annex, 350 Discovery Blvd., Cedar Park
Taylor Annex, 412 Vance St., Taylor
Walmart – 620 S I-35, Georgetown
UPS store located at University and Railroad in Georgetown

Brown Santa Distribution Day is December 8. Barrels will remain in place until December 24, 2018.

2018 Tax Rate

WILLIAMSON COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.72 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $4.25.
