On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Williamson County voters voiced their approval for the passage of a proposition supporting $40 million in bonds for parks and recreation development projects located around the county. One of the approved projects slated for development using the bond funds is the Williamson County Exposition Center. Park Bond Map found here
River Ranch County Park
River Ranch County Park is approximately 1,000 acres located between Leander and Liberty Hill. It was purchased with voter approved Park Bond money in 2006. The initial master plan was completed in 2010. With the 2013 Park Bond money, Williamson County hired landscape architects DESIGNWORKSHOP to help guide the County through Phase One of the park's development.
